For the first time during an AFAC Conference CEO Stuart Ellis will interview four AFAC agency leaders. We hear them speak formally at conferences and agency events; we see and hear them in the media; come and share a relaxed conversation with some of those who are helping to shape the future of the sector.

Here is the chance to sit up close and personal with four Industry Leaders: National Commander Paul Baxter, New Zealand Fire Service; Commissioner Shane Fitzsimons, New South Wales Rural Fire Service; Commissioner Wayne Gregson, Department of Fire and Emergency Services, Western Australia and a representative from SES.

Learn a little more about who they are as individuals, where they have come from, what motivates them, how they have come to be in their current roles and their perceptions of the major challenges facing the industry. These are some of our industry leaders that are required to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Premiers and Prime Ministers and account for what did and did not happen during major events. They are four of our AFAC Council members.

This session will include opportunities to answer questions from the floor.
