Michael Eburn is an Associate Professor at the ANU College of Law, a visiting Fellow at the ANU¹s Fenner School of Environment and Society and an Affiliate with the Disaster Development Network, University of Northumbria (UK). Michael¹s research interest are the law and emergency management and the emergency services. He is the author of Emergency Law (4th ed, 2014, Federation Press) as well as numerous journal articles in this area. He is currently engaged on a four year research project funded by the Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC looking at the policies, institutions and governance of natural hazards.
