In her professional career, Samantha worked as a recruitment consultant before moving into the Fire & Safety Training Industry. She has held Training Management roles both within private industry as well as managing the commercial training arm at Fire & Rescue NSW (FRNSW), ComSafe. She currently holds the position of Manager Community Fire Units (CFU) at FRNSW where she is responsible for the strategic direction of over 7000 CFU volunteers across NSW.
Samantha comes with over 15 years experience as a volunteer in the NSW SES undertaking a variety of roles including training, rescue, media and planning. This wealth of knowledge has assisted her in recent times as part of the IMT in some very significant flooding operations. Her volunteer experience expands further afield than just the NSW SES where she has also been a fire fighter with the NSW Rural Fire Service since 1998.
Samantha holds a Master of Management from MGSM, Bachelor of Science in Psychology as well as other formal qualifications in training, human resources, sales and emergency management.
